ETERC Conference 2024

The Institute of Transportation Studies and the European Transport and Research Centre are hosting a conference in collaboration with Ghent University, in Ghent, Belgium on 10-11 September 2024.
The conference will touch upon issues relevant for the transportation sector including electrification of vehicles, from EVs, and trucks to aviation and shipping, digitalisation and its effects on passenger safety, as well as cross-cutting issues of environmental justice and labour impacts. This gathering of mobility policy-makers aims to consider climate, energy security, environmental justice, and economic concerns and how these influence transportation investments and choices.
Our Secretary General, Fabrice Stassin will be speaking at session 4 titled “Addressing challenges in battery (and chips) value chains and securing sustainable critical material supply” during the second day of the conference.
